Let's Enjoy the New Look of TMII to Celebrate the New Year 2025.

  Presiden Joko widodo on  1st September 2023 officially launched a revitalisation project  of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). It was hoped that the public can enjoy and visit the new face of TMII which is neat, greener, more beautiful and more comfortable. The new look  returned the initial masterplan of TMII, namely 70 percent green open space and 30 percent buildings. The project emphasizes environmentally friendly concept by extending green zone area and adopting low-gas emissions vehicles.   Besides traditionally woven fabric called  Songket cloths , the splendor of Palembang culture  is reflected from its traditional house called Rumah Limas, or Limas House.  Songket cloths made in Palembang have glorified  the tradition of Locals of Palembang handed down even for centuries from the era of the Sriwijaya Empire in the early first millenium. The Celebration of 1st Suro in Surakarta : The History of "Kebo Bule"

  "Kebo Bule" in the cage at the Palace Compound of Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat. The celebration of the 1st Night of the Suro Keraton Surakarta Heritage Carnival on Sunday  was lively. Starting at around 23.30 WIB or midnight, people continued to flock to the carnival route, especially the Gladag Roundabout area. One thing that is unique about this carnival is the white buffalo ("Kebo Bule") who is Cucuk Lampah or leader of the marching. According to the Surakarta City Government website, "Kebo Bule" called also as Kyai Slamet is considered a bringer of blessings and salvation from the Almighty. His arrival was always eagerly awaited. In the past, many residents tried to hold this buffalo when passing by.
