                                                                  (Courtesy of YouTube) President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially launched the Golden Visa.A Golden Visa is a grant of permission to foreigners to stay in Indonesia for a period of 5 to 10 years. This golden visa targets foreigners who are considered to be able to provide benefits to the Indonesian economy. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also officially launched the golden visa on Thursday (25/7). Jokowi said the Indonesian government wanted to make it easier for foreign citizens to invest and work in Indonesia. Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Silmy Karim, revealed that there are already 300 foreign nationals who have golden visas from Indonesia. Of this amount, the investment value reached IDR 2 trillion. The Golden Visa targets foreigners who can support the Indonesian economy, one of which is investors, both corporate and individual. The Celebration of 1st Suro in Surakarta : The History of "Kebo Bule"

  "Kebo Bule" in the cage at the Palace Compound of Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat. The celebration of the 1st Night of the Suro Keraton Surakarta Heritage Carnival on Sunday  was lively. Starting at around 23.30 WIB or midnight, people continued to flock to the carnival route, especially the Gladag Roundabout area. One thing that is unique about this carnival is the white buffalo ("Kebo Bule") who is Cucuk Lampah or leader of the marching. According to the Surakarta City Government website, "Kebo Bule" called also as Kyai Slamet is considered a bringer of blessings and salvation from the Almighty. His arrival was always eagerly awaited. In the past, many residents tried to hold this buffalo when passing by. In fact, there are people flocking to pick up Kebo Bule's feces, which is considered to bring blessings because it is an heirloom belonging to the Kasunanan Palace.However, now people can only watch this white buffalo and are not allowed to touc

Keraton Kesunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat.   Every year, the Palace of  Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat celebrates the turn of Javaness Calender  called 1st Suro. This tradition has been passed down from generation to generation on the night of 1 Suro, which is the first night in the Javanese calendar, and also coincides with the Islamic New Year 1 Muharram in the Hijri calendar which is on 7th July 2024. The celebration of the 1st night of Suro has the meaning of commemorating a sign of the change of time which is considered very important, and is related to the cycle of life and rituals. The culmination of a series of traditional ceremonies held in the palace, before the new year begins, the 1 Suro Pusaka Carnival is held.  The Sacred White Buffalo or "Kebo Bule". In the heritage carnival, usually the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace will also display "Kebo Bule" (White Buffalo) and various palace heirlooms which are used as symbols of the power of ancestral spirits.
