  Presiden Joko widodo on  1st September 2023 officially launched a revitalisation project  of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). It was hoped that the public can enjoy and visit the new face of TMII which is neat, greener, more beautiful and more comfortable. The new look  returned the initial masterplan of TMII, namely 70 percent green open space and 30 percent buildings. The project emphasizes environmentally friendly concept by extending green zone area and adopting low-gas emissions vehicles. In northwest Lombok Island, there lie three small islands namely: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. These islands are well known as tourist destinations in Lombok, West Nusa tenggara (NTB), Indonesia. Among the three islands, Gili Trawangan is the biggest and most visited by tourists.

Arriving at "Gili T" ,tourists commonly call it, you will be amazed by it beauty.  The landscape is really unspoiled, clean, and extravagant, many people want to feel the sensation of holiday on the island. Too bad when you try to Gili Trawangan without sensation snorkeling or diving around the island. So, snorkeling and scuba diving should be main activities in "Gili T".

Thirdly, Gili Trawangan is free from motor vehicles, as well as traffic jam. Guaranteed, you will find no motorized vehicles in all corners of the island, because motorized vehicles are strictly forbidden to operate on the island. Last but not least is friendly locals. In addition to stunning natural charm, Gili Trawangan is also inhabited by friendly local residents.
