  Presiden Joko widodo on  1st September 2023 officially launched a revitalisation project  of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). It was hoped that the public can enjoy and visit the new face of TMII which is neat, greener, more beautiful and more comfortable. The new look  returned the initial masterplan of TMII, namely 70 percent green open space and 30 percent buildings. The project emphasizes environmentally friendly concept by extending green zone area and adopting low-gas emissions vehicles. Indonesia is known as the largest archipelago country in the World. In fact, Indonesia is a make up of over 17,000 islands, big and small, stretching around 5000 km from Sabang Island in the northernmost of Sumatra Island on the west to Merauke in West Papua on the east. Superimposing, Indonesian territory over Europe, you will find that it stretches from Ireland to Iran; and from California to Bermuda over the United States of America. No wander that Indonesia is also called as a necklace of equatorial emeralds.

Starting at around 23.30 WIB or midnight, people continued to flock to the carnival route, especially the Gladag Roundabout area.
