Danau Singkarak

Danau Singkarak or Singkarak Lake is the largest lake in West Sumatra with a length of 21 km, which is located on a side street sport Padang Panjang - Solok.Around the lake there are several places to relax and unwind And there are also various facilities canoe, boat, and hotel. Tour de Singkarak (French for Singkarak Tour) is the official bicycle racing championship of the International Cycling Association (Union Cycliste International) which is held annually in West Sumatra. The championship, which was first held in 2009, is a long-distance road race which is generally held around April to June and lasts for a week. The Tour de Singkarak in the world ranking in term of spectators is ranked 5th, after the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espana, and Santos Tour Down Under.

 Danau Diatas-Danau Dibawah, or Upper and Lower Lakes is formed from a certain amount of water (fresh or salt) which accumulates in a place that is wide enough, which could occur due to melting glaciers, streams, or because of the springs. Usually the lake can be used as a means of recreation and sport. Both lakes are low as Twin Lakes. Both lakes are located in the village of  Pasar Simpang Lembayang Jaya District, Solok Regency, approximately 47 km from the city of Solok and 56 km from the city of Padang.

ISTANA PARAGUYUNG
