Presiden Joko widodo on 1st September 2023 officially launched a revitalisation project of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). It was hoped that the public can enjoy and visit the new face of TMII which is neat, greener, more beautiful and more comfortable. The new look returned the initial masterplan of TMII, namely 70 percent green open space and 30 percent buildings. Danau Singkarak
Danau Singkarak or Singkarak Lake is the largest lake in West Sumatra with a length of 21 km, which is located on a side street sport Padang Panjang - Solok.Around the lake there are several places to relax and unwind And there are also various facilities canoe, boat, and hotel. There is also the facility to surround the lake with a beautiful view.
Singkarak Lake is the 2nd largest lake in Sumatra after Lake Toba. The
lake is situated at a height of 36.5 meters above sea level this is the
habitat of ornamental fish species that lives only in this lake. Lake water
is partly channeled through the tunnel to penetrate Bukit Barisan to
Batang Anai to drive hydroelectric generators near Lubuk Alung Batur,
Padang Pariaman. Fish
bilih (Mystacoleucus padangensis) is a species of fish that are
expected to live only in this lake, and became one of the specialties.

Tour de Singkarak (French for Singkarak Tour) is the official bicycle racing championship of the International Cycling Association (Union Cycliste International) which is held annually in West Sumatra. The championship, which was first held in 2009, is a long-distance road race which is generally held around April to June and lasts for a week. The Tour de Singkarak in the world ranking in term of spectators is ranked 5th, after the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espana, and Santos Tour Down Under.
Danau Diatas-Danau Dibawah
Danau Diatas-Danau Dibawah, or Upper and Lower Lakes is formed from a certain amount of water (fresh or salt) which accumulates in a
place that is wide enough, which could occur due to melting glaciers,
streams, or because of the springs. Usually the lake can be used as a means of recreation and sport. Both lakes are low as Twin Lakes. Both lakes are located in the village of Pasar Simpang Lembayang Jaya District, Solok Regency, approximately 47 km from the city of Solok and 56 km from the city of Padang.
The
uniqueness of the twin lakes is to get to the lake at the Top, we have
to go through the road which decreases while to get to the lake at the
Bottom, we have to go through the road that climb. Around the lake is planted with passion fruit flavor manic, vegetables, and potatoes. One is the twin lakes, namely Lake in Upper-Lake in the Lower.
Both lakes were located in Gunung Talang, precisely in the area of Bungo Tanjung, Alahan Panjang. The

ISTANA PARAGUYUNG
The
existence of the palace, located four kilometers from the
capital city of Batusangkar Regency can not be separated from the ups and downs of Minang ethnic.

on December 27, 1976 by the Governor of West Sumatra (then Haron Zain). Near the Palace, there is a group of stone inscriptions that not
only tells the history of Minang, but also a piece of history of the
archipelago as a whole. A number of officials and important figures ever in-Lewa-kan (inducted) received honors traditional Minangkabau in the palace.
DANAU MANINJAU

Datar and Solok district. Around Lake Maninjau are tourist facilities, like hotels (Maninjau
Indah Hotel and Pasir Panjang Permai) as well as lodging and
restaurants.
CLOCK TOWER
The Clock Tower wa founded by Controleur Rook Maker in 1926 and located in the city center. The building was designed by the son of Minangkabau Jazid and Sutan Persistent Ameh. Clock
Tower is a symbol of the city of Bukittinggi surrounded by
gardens and trees as protection, which can provide coolness and serves as
the town square. From

FORT DE KOCK
Fortress
was founded by Captain Bouer in 1825 at the time of Baron Hendrik
Markus De Kock as Der Troepen commander and Deputy Governor General of
the Dutch East Indies, which is why this fort known as Fort Fort de
Kock. The
fortress is located on top of Bukit Jirek used by the Dutch Army as a
stronghold of the onslaught of the Minangkabau people, especially since
the outbreak of the Padri war in 1821-1837. Around the castle there are still ancient cannons period of the 19th century. Until now, Fort de Kock is still there as a green-white-painted buildings as high as 20 m. Fort de Kock is equipped with a small cannon at the four corners. The
area around the castle has been renovated by the local government into a
garden with lots of shade trees and children's toys. From this location we can enjoy a tour of Bukittinggi and the surrounding area. The
fort was built in the town of Bukittinggi clalarn pincak in 1825 at the
time of the popular resistance led by Tuanku Imam Bonjol and tiger Nan

GUA JEPANG
This cave was built by the Japanese army during World War II to keep food supplies and weapons. This
tunnel is 1,400 meters long winding made in the period of 1942, is
located in the middle of the park in the canyon panorama Sianok under
Bukittinggi, with a width of 2 meters. In the cave there are different purposes for office space,hospitals, food, and weapons.The
entrance of the cave are in some places, such as in the canyon Sianok,
