When on holiday in Puncak, do not miss out Taman Bunga Nusantara. As the name implies, here you can enjoy a beautiful and a quite wide flower garden. Located not far from Mount Gede, with the average temperature daily between 20 to 26 degree C making the air so fresh and fit those who want to take a rest or retreat after a week of hard work.

Taman Bunga Nusantara or Flower Garden Nusantara is an agro tourism destination comprising of  a total of 23 hectares and beautifully designed with a wonderful display of varied colors and shapes of flowers from around the world, particularly from the regions that complement with Indonesian climate.  It lies on the height of 750 meters and around two hours driving from Jakarta toward Cianjur at Jalan Mariwati Km 7, Kawungluwuk, Sukaresmi, Kabupaten Cianjur, Jawa Barat 43254.

Upon the arrival on Taman Bunga Nusantara, you will be greet by Black Swan (Cygnus Attratus). Black Swan is the proud icon of Taman Bunga Nusantara. It symbolizes the garden as an agro tourism destination, which is based on the potential of existing flora and fauna, all interacting in harmony and always grows to acclimatize to their environment.


After two hour driving once entering the compound of Taman Bunga Nusantara, your eyes will be rewarded with a beautiful stretch of flower carpet nicely arranged. Even though you will be provided with garden vehicles, called Mobil wira-wiri and Dotto Train, to get around and tower to enjoy the beauty of various flowers, many find strolling around more entertaining then hoping on the vehicles.


Don't worry about getting around, the management provides you with directional map as well guiding signals inside the garden.



There are so many interesting features you can enjoy in Taman Bunga Nusantara including Water Garden,Labyrinth Garden, French Garden, Dutch Green House, Bali Garden, Giant Clock Garden, Japanese Garden, American Garden, and Musical Fountain.

Water Garden

The water park is a park in Taman Bungan Nusantara which contains various water plants.These water plants come from various countries that have various beautiful shapes and colors. There are some rare and famous water plants here. As an example: Cybera Papyrus which is often used as paper material by Egyptians.


Besides, if visitors want to see a giant lotus then water park is the place. There are also other plants such as the Talia Delbeta plant from the USA. In this park you can also see Dinosaur statue that is interesting for children and also teenagers for "selfie". 


Labyrinth Garden (Maze Garden)

Labyrinth Garden is a complicated irregular network of passages or paths in the bushes of plants which it is difficult to find one's way out. so if you want to feel the sensation of getting loss in this garden just get in and experience it your self.  It comprises of 1 hectare ornamented with manicured bushes of plants. It takes you around on a race to reach the center of Labyrinth where the promises of a stunning panorama is waiting for you as a token of appreciation for your achievement. don't worry about finding way out because the management will provide you with map to help direct you.

French Garden
The garden featuring a Renaissance style of gardening with geometric shapes and  low hedging. The mix of very short border hedges and short bedding plants called parterres which comes from the French phrase  broderie par terre or embroidery on the ground. The splendor of the French Garden can be appreciated near or a far from the Observation Tower.


Observation Tower is a lookout buildings of four levels with a height of 28 meters.This tall tower will facilitate visitors to enjoy the beauty of this garden from above. to get up there, you will have a lift and stairs. You will have the advantage of making beautiful pictures and viewing a variety of garden panorama.  

Dutch Green House
For those who want to see a variety of flowers from the typical four seasons countries, then visit the greenhouse. The conservatory specialist green house from the Netherlands built it in 1994. Besides, the green house is completed with tropical plants including Indonesian orchid.


Bali Garden


The atmosphere of Bali Island, or popularly known as "the Land of Gods" is found in Taman Bali or Bali Garden. A replica of a traditional village in Bali is on display in this garden. Once you enter gate,  you will find unique buildings such as Candi Bentar as the entrance gate, Bale Bengong (gazebo), and Bale Kul Kul. You will also find a variety of Bali style statues and various tropical plants with beautiful leaves and flowers such as frangipani, hibiscus and range of heliconia. 

Giant Clock Garden
This unique garden is a garden watch with a diameter of  ten meters. Interestingly, every half an hour starting from 09.30 until 17.00 WIT this watch sings popular songs. This garden was designed by Haman Yosuke, a Japanese designer.


Japanese Garden
Japanese Garden is famous for its tranquil and peaceful setting. In this garden, you will other uppermost elements including the grand white wall, fishpond, pagoda or gazebo as well patterned and manicured plants.



American Garden.
In the American Garden, you will find country classic garden theme with typical redbrick path, white gazebo and splendid arrangement of colors from the flowers as reflected in the country of America.

Musical Fountain


Musical Fountain will spoil you with a display of spectacular view of dancing water fountain. The movement of water will follow the rhythm of accompanying music. This facility is considered a new one and officially opened by the First Lady Madame Ani Susilo bambang Yudhoyono on the 11st anniversary  of Taman Bunga Nusantara, September 6th, 2005.

Another interesting feature in Taman Bunga Nusantara is a variety of  topiary. Topiary is the art or practice of clipping shrubs or trees into ornamental shapes.The largest one is Peacock Topiary. Over 25,000 flowery plants needed to decorate the peacock. In order to keep the beauty of the peacock, the management  changes the colors of its shapes regularly every two or three months with the colorful flower.
