Bandar Lampung is the capital of Lampung province in Sumatra Island and is a combination of the two cities tanjungkarang and Telukbetung. It is home to around 2 millions people spreading administratively in seven sub-districts or kecamatan consisting of 15 Kelurahan. Here are a number of tourist attractions in and around Bandar Lampung :


Butterfly Park Gita Persada
Gita Persada Butterfly Park is a tourist attraction in the North Betung Bay District, Bandar Lampung City. The park has a collection of more than 100 species of butterflies in Sumatra. Aside from the free-living butterfly, the park also has 140 collections that have been preserved since 1997.The Gita Persada is located in Jl. Wan Abdurrahman, Hutan, Kec. Hutan, Lampung, 35158 closed to the Deer Park Tahura WAR.

One of the tourist attractions that located not far from the center of Bandar Lampung City is the Tahura Deer Park of Abdur Rachman or also known as Sumber Agung Deer Deer Breeding.You can enjoy a beautiful, cool and beautiful breeding atmosphere as it is located at the foot of Mount Agung. Its address is Jl. Wan Abdurrahman, Sumber Agung, Kec. Kemiling, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung 35156.

Muncak Pas Tirtayasa
A popular tourist attractions among youngsters in Bandar Lampung is Muncak Tirtayasa. This spot offers its panoramic beauty with a wide perspective that is very Instagramable. Muncak Tirtayasa offers to enjoy Lampung Bay in a different way. If from the beach you can only enjoy a small part of the beauty of the bay, then the top of the bay is covered entirely. In addition to views of the bay, looking at the city of Lampung city from a height is no less beautiful. Especially at night when the city lights scattered like stars in the black sky.

Mutun Beach and Tangkil Island
Since Bandar Lampung lies in Lampung bay, no wonder beaches and small islands are its popular tourism attractions; Mutun beach and Tangkil Island is no exception. These tourism destinations are under management of Tangkil Resort. The location is easily accessible from Bandar Lampung, even though administratively belongs to Pesawaran Regency.

Kampung Durian Sukadanaham
Sukadana Ham is the best spot to enjoy Durian in Bandar Lampung when its season comes, around the turn of the year.  Located on most the hilly area in Bandar Lampung, durian trees are found along winding road, Jalan Raden Imba Kusuma, in Sukadanaham village. The landmark of Kampung Durian in Sukadanaham is Tugu Durian.The access road can be from either Jalan Waltermonginsidi or Pasar Kemiling.  After hunting "the King of Fruit", Visitors may continue  to other recreation spots in Sukadanaham like Puncak Mas, Lembah Hijau, Alam Wawai Eco Park, and the Summit Bistro.

Adventure into the Komodo Island National Park was my long time dream. My passionate for the trip came over as the Komodo Island was designated as the New Seven Wonders of the World, my activity in the public sector occupied most my time. This golden visa targets foreigners who are considered to be able to provide benefits to the Indonesian economy. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also officially launched the golden visa on Thursday (25/7). Jokowi said the Indonesian government wanted to make it easier for foreign citizens to invest and work in Indonesia. Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Silmy Karim, revealed that there are already 300 foreign nationals who have golden visas from Indonesia. Historical Buildings and Sites in Jakarta: Menara Syahbandar.

Syahbandar Menara Jakarta was built around 1839 and previously called Uitkijk or Uitkijk Post, once the watchtower for vessels entering and leaving Batavia and as a tax collector's office for goods unloaded at the port of Sunda Kelapa. Its function as a control tower terminated after 1886, when the port of Tanjung Priok was opened. The tower  actually occupies the former bastion (camp) Culemborg. The bastion was made of rock in 1645, the fortifications, part of the wall around the city of Batavia to care for the mouth of the Ciliwung River, Warehouse pepper, and Shipyard. The building of Syahbandar Tower has a dimension of 4 x 8 meters high and 12 meters. Jakarta Syahbandar tower has three rooms, namely on the ground floor, in the central part measuring 6 × 7 meters, and the top which serves as a viewing room with four windows.
