  Presiden Joko widodo on  1st September 2023 officially launched a revitalisation project  of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). It was hoped that the public can enjoy and visit the new face of TMII which is neat, greener, more beautiful and more comfortable. The new look  returned the initial masterplan of TMII, namely 70 percent green open space and 30 percent buildings. The project emphasizes environmentally friendly concept by extending green zone area and adopting low-gas emissions vehicles. Visit Grand Forest Park Djuanda Bandung

Taman Hutan Raya (Tahura) Djuanda is a forest park in Dago Pakar, North Bandung. It is designated as a reserve area for forest conservation. Besides, it also functions as a recreation area.

This park is easily accessible as it is situated at the end part of Jalan Ir. H.Djuanda, Bandung. It is open daily from 8 pm till 6 pm.The ticket price for the Juanda Forest Park is IDR 11,000 for domestic visitors and IDR 76,000 for outside tourists.


The forest park is in Kampong Pakar, ciburial village, cimenyan subdistrict, Bandung. This area is located at an altitude of 770 - 1330 MSL. The area of the park is around 590 ha, stretching from the dago area to Maribaya Lembang.

The park is close to other tourist destination, Maribaya. Maribaya is a recreation spot known for its hot springs and the existence of waterfalls.Therefore access into this park can also be made from Maribaya by walking of around one hour.

The park is popular among nature enthusiats as there are several tourist spots that you can visit while traveling here. Some of these tourist attractions are even better known than the park itself even though they are in the Juanda THR area.

The following are some of the attractions and tourist activities that you can do in the Juanda Tahura area of Bandung.

Japanese Hole

The hole a relic of the Japanese occupation in Indonesia from 1942 to 1944. This hole  has 4 doors and 2 air channels. This structure was built in 1942.

Dutch Hole


Built in 1918, this Dutch cave is estimated to be used as a military base, a prison, an armory, a communication center, and also a hydropower plant.
