Presiden Joko widodo on 1st September 2023 officially launched a revitalisation project of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). It was hoped that the public can enjoy and visit the new face of TMII which is neat, greener, more beautiful and more comfortable. The new look returned the initial masterplan of TMII, namely 70 percent green open space and 30 percent buildings. The project emphasizes environmentally friendly concept by extending green zone area and adopting low-gas emissions vehicles. As of May first, the outbreak of Coronavirus in Wuhan, China has become
pandemic. Worldwide, the novel coronavirushas infected more than 3.2 million people and killed at least 230,000,and recovered at least 1 million people. The statistics of Covid-19 comes from 202 countries and territories reported the coronavirus reached 202 that reported the cases in their countries.
Indonesia detected the spread of Covid-19 by March 1st,
followed by official statement of Presiden Jokowi on March 2 that Indonesian dance instructor and her mother had infected by Covid -19 out of physical contact with a
Japanese citizen in Depok, West Java. Since then on, Indonesia has
fallen into one of 202 countries with pandemic of Corona Virus and by April 9th, all provinces had reported confirmed cases with Gorontalo being the last one.

After two months of coronavirus pandemic, the world witnesses Covid-19 has spread across South East Asia. Singapore top among the countries with the reported cases : 16,669 followed by Indonesia with 10,118 cases, Philippines 8488 cases, Malaysia 6002 cases, Thailand 2521 cases. Others countries the region reported less than 1,000 cases.
Indonesia now ranks 36th in the list of countries with the highest number of positive corona cases in the world. The Spokesperson of Indonesian Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Achmad Yurianto confirmed that Covid-19 has spread throughout Indonesia or 34 provinces and submitted data on positive patients of corona virus totaling 10,118 cases.
As of today, Thursday (4/30/2020) until 12.00 West Indonesian Time, DKI Jakarta Province region was recorded as the highest in Indonesia at 4175 people infected by Covid-19, followed by West Java 1,012 cases, East Java 958 cases, and Central Java 724 cases.
The Indonesian Task Force also announced five provinces with the lowest positive cases as of April 27th, 2020. These provinces are East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) 1 cases, Bengkulu 9 cases, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) 9 cases, Bangka Belitung 10 cases, and Gorontalo 14 cases. Please check the updates spatially on the following map. Thus, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is the province with the least confirmed case of Covid-19 in Indonesia.
In all, statistics shows that Indonesia is entirely affected by the Covid-19. The epicenter of Covid-19 outbreak lies in Java Island with Special Region Jakarta hit worst of all, followed by Sumatera Island, and Kalimantan Island. Interestingly, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) recorded the lowest cases in Indonesia. Statics also suggest that Western Indonesia is affected more badly then Eastern Indonesia.
Presiden Joko widodo is scheduled to launch another breakthrough project in transportation in Indonesia, the fist High Speed Train, on October 1st, 2023. This project is called Kereta Cepat Indonesia Jakarta Bandung (KCJB) connecting Jakarta and Bandung within 35 to 45 minutes.
