To improve the satisfaction of travelers In Indonesia, State Owned-Train Company, Kereta Api Indonesia or KAI, now operates panoramic trains. The first Panoramic train in Indonesia has started operating. The soft launching of this train took place from Sunday (24/12/2022) to (08/01/2023). The Panoramic Train is a form of innovation by KAI to improve train services.

Panoramic train of KAI is the first train in Indonesia presenting travelers with  beautiful view throught its large windows. Apart from having large windows, this train also has a number of other facilities such as comfortable seats, spacious toilets and automatic sensors, televisions, special luggage racks, food, drinks, snacks and blankets. Indonesia follows other countries like USA, Japan, as well as Swiss in providing the train services. 

Starting on June 3 2023, the train services will be scheduled everyday after 6-months- trial services since its soft launching in December 2022. Information on the train services is availabe on KAI Accesss application,  KAI website (www.kai.id), and official travel and tour agents of  KAI.
