At the late of the night, there was an urge for me to read the postings on WhatsApp Group Chat among my office colleagues. It was not messages but a video posted by a close friend of mine. Then, a normal curiosity came over me to find out as to what was sent in the middle of serious conversations.  Having given a touch on the screen of my CP, the first look seemed to me like an old version film of  my country but with a lady back singer singing a Netherlands song. Only then, I noticed that it was about Bandung in the old times but with no indication of time of production at all.    I felt enthusiast to carry on watching the video which brought my vivid memories of my life as a student of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in the 80s. As I went on end finished it, I felt a bit of disappointment because the video missed my campus an iconic building in Bandung, used to be Techniche Hoogeschool te Bandung  (THB) or now ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology). When in Bandung, another activity you should not skip is do some exercises or just take a stroll at Lapangan Gasibu . Lapangan Gasibu is an old public space and considered an iconic site in Bandung. It was first built by the Dutch colonial government as an open space in front of Gedung Sate or Satay House; this area was first known as the Wilhelmina Plein in 1920. In the 1950s, Lapangan Gasibu was football stadium for people in the north Bandung. The name of Gasibu itself came from a football association where the members were the people of north Bandung. Gasibu stands for Gabungan Sepakbola Indonesia bandung Utara, or North Bandung Indonesian Football Association. As a public open space, Lapangan Gasibu is situated strategically in north Bandung making it frequently visited.  The crowd always takes place in the Sunday morning as many activities are held in and around Lapangan Gasibu from sport exercise,  farmers market, music performance, and sunday market.

A spectacular even called as "Festival Bunga dan Buah Nusantara 2019", or Festival of Indonesia Flowers and Fruits is around the corner. With the objective of introducing domestic flowers and fruits across the country, this even is for sure a big ones. As an annual even, the festival will take place  at Pakansari Stadium, in Cibinong, Bogor regency from November 29th to Desember 1st, 2019. Diponegoro No.57, Cihaur Geulis, Cibeunying Kaler, Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat 40122 is a popular destination especially among students to enrich their knowledge about the Earth on geological phenomena in Indonesia. The Geology Museum was established on May 16, 1928. The museum was initiated by the Dutch Insitute, Dienst Van het Mijnwezen, then changed to Dienst Van Den Mijnbouw and functioned as  geological laboratory of the government office.  The museum has been renovated with assistance from JICA. After undergoing renovations, the Geology Museum was reopened and inaugurated by the Indonesian Vice President, Megawati Soekarnoputri on August 23, 2000.
