Let's Enjoy the New Look of TMII to Celebrate the New Year 2025.

  Presiden Joko widodo on  1st September 2023 officially launched a revitalisation project  of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). It was hoped that the public can enjoy and visit the new face of TMII which is neat, greener, more beautiful and more comfortable. The new look  returned the initial masterplan of TMII, namely 70 percent green open space and 30 percent buildings. The project emphasizes environmentally friendly concept by extending green zone area and adopting low-gas emissions vehicles. The Celebration of 1st Suro in Surakarta by The Palace of Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat.

Keraton Kesunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat.   Every year, the Palace of  Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat celebrates the turn of Javaness Calender  called 1st Suro. This tradition has been passed down from generation to generation on the night of 1 Suro, which is the first night in the Javanese calendar, and also coincides with the Islamic New Year 1 Muharram in the Hijri calendar which is on 7th July 2024. The celebration of the 1st night of Suro has the meaning of commemorating a sign of the change of time which is considered very important, and is related to the cycle of life and rituals. The culmination of a series of traditional ceremonies held in the palace, before the new year begins, the 1 Suro Pusaka Carnival is held.  The Sacred White Buffalo or "Kebo Bule".
